Tata Motors SALT Experience and Management

The Tata Motors Annual Suppliers Conference 2014 concluded at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel. It was the second big project executed by the Mumbai office of SALT Experience and Management in a span of four months since its opening.

A multi agency pitch was called by Tata Motors and SALT won the mandate to execute the project. The brief in a single line was to create a unique engaging integrated program spread over for two days of the conference at the same venue. The goal was to have the Group Chairman address the community. SALT’s team worked with Tata’s team for over two straight months to build the show.

SALT built three stages in one hall in a tight time frame, managed over 48 artists backstage, accommodated delegates. The SALT team had to use new sound technology so the chandeliers inside the hall didn’t break due to uncontrolled vibrations and resonance.

The event had many engagement and interactive zones with a theme from Macau to Mumbai since last year the same conference was held at Macau and executed by SALT itself. Tata engaged over 450 guests and competed through an RFID based application winning more points than another at inter actives.

Commenting on the event, Viveck Pande, Branch Head – Mumbai , SALT Experience and Management said: “We learned new methods to run the show and adapted technology of instant scripting in case of any change in the script, which could mean a change just 2 minutes prior. Tribute it is to the team and a privilege to be part of an event that gives an opportunity to meet the Chairman of Tata Motors and receive the applause.”
