Asian Paints held a ‘Jashn’ night for the highest level of achievers in the dealer segment for the Aug-Oct time period in Mumbai. It’s a contest where the dealers falling under this category along with their families are brought in for a fun and engaging day where Asian Paints interacts with them.

This time, the plan was to take them to Smaaash in the afternoon for a fun gaming session and to Taj Mahal Palace at night for an entertaining gala dinner. Long-term partner Encompass executed the event, held on Nov. 15 in Mumbai.

After a day of being active with all that Smaaash has to offer, it was time for the gala dinner. The event started with the emcee welcoming and interacting with all the guests. Post that, Amit Syngle (President – Sales, Marketing & Technology, Asian Paints) addressed the audience before the first act for the evening, Drum Jam, entertained the dealers.

This was followed by two performances by Funny Boyz, leaving the audience in peals of laughter. It was then time for the first segment of awards, where winners across two categories - Premium Raja and Premium Maharaja were felicitated. Each award winner had an animated caricature version of himself which was displayed on the screen while the person was awarded.

Magician Mangesh Desai filled in with his act, before the second segment was underway, with categories Aspira Emperors and Royale Badshahs. The finale act was the highlight of the evening where Sunil Grover as Gutthi brought the house down with his comedy.

Impressed with Encompass, Vinay Charaniya, Area Manager, Asian Paints, said: “Managing a set of Asian Paints dealers is a complex activity that comprises an equal mix of planning and thinking on the spot. Encompass pulled off this difficult task in a fine manner by ensuring the dealers were thoroughly engaged and least inconvenienced throughout Jashn. The activities at Smaaash and the gala night at Taj Mahal Palace were well executed and the memory of the event this year will surely be etched in the minds of our dealers for a long time.”

Commenting on the event, Apeksha Prasad, Manager - Client Servicing, Encompass, said: “The challenge was the fact that the dealers were all from in and around Mumbai and we had to give them an experience that they would have never had in the city. They thoroughly enjoyed both events and there was a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm. It was an honour to be part of this event and the efforts of the team were well received and appreciated by guests and the client alike.”

Encompass executed the event, held at Smaaash for a gaming session and at Taj Mahal Palace for a gala dinner.
