DNA presents 'Sur Sangeet Sangam' to raise funds for NGO

An NGO called Light Of Life Trust (LOLT), along with DNA Media Ltd, is organising the 'Sur Sangeet Sangam' concert at Nehru Centre Auditorium in Mumbai on March 19. The concert will be a trip down memory lane and will include popular Hindi songs of legendary Indian singers like Mukesh, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Shamshad Begum, among others.


Talking about the initiative, Jaya Ahuja, Director, LOLT, said, "One of our projects, Anando, is aimed at empowering rural under-privileged children and helping them develop new skills, get basic education and help secure jobs in the future. Initially, Anando will focus on rural areas in Maharashtra. Through this concert, we aim to raise funds for Anando, and are expecting over 1,000 people to attend this concert."


The event is being organised by Bipin Pandit, Manager, Ad Club of Mumbai. The event is being promoted through ads in DNA, Mid-Day, Radio Mirchi and hoardings across Mumbai. The performing singers in the concert include Sunil Menon, Rohit Borekar, Mona Kamat, Dinesh Ghate, Anand Bahal, Shradddha Vete and Pradeep Pandit.
Media partner for the event is Mudra Max. Other partners include Eventfaqs, E4Media Group, Audiencematters.com, Impact, Zee 24 Taas, Bright Outdoors, P7, Mid-Day and Radio Mirchi.
