Feeding Concepts Dia Mirza Sahil Sangha
Hyderabadi and Awashi cuisine served at Dia Mirza and Sahila Sangha's wedding
On October 15, a Youngster Night took place to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of film actress Dia Mirza with Delhi based businessman Sahil Sangha.
The night witnessed the who's who of Delhi including fashion designers Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra along with Aanchal Khanna, jewellery designer Payal Gupta Sud and Mira Gulati, among many popular names from the Delhi social circuit were present at the event.
The event was a pool side party affair at a private farm in Westend Greens, Rajokri where no tentage was done whatsoever. The buffet tables created by the catering company were kept minimalist and classy incorporating bits of leather. The crockery was amongst the most appreciated with the dinner plates having an extension to hold wine glasses, something which has not been seen before in India.
Catering company Feeding Concepts dished out Indian, Awadhi and Pan Asian exotic appetizers like Canadian Hazelnuts tossed Scallops, Crab Cakes and Spanish Gazpacho amongst an array of others.
The main course as per strict instructions from Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha included only Hyderabadi and Awadhi cuisine. Desserts included white wine cheese cake with honey almond on top and some Indian desserts that from Kolkatta such as boondi burfee rabri baked with flair gun and rasgulla stuffed in litchi. The Stewards were nicely dressed wearing a Saffron Nehru Jacket.
As a special gesture, Feeding Concepts included Gucci Biryani in the menu. Gucci (Wild Mushroom) is the most expensive vegetable in the world.
