Umbrella Aegis dabbles in experiential venues for brands and agencies

Umbrella Aegis is a newly launched agency, founded by Suresh Kumar Kurapaty. With an objective to provide suitable experiential venues to industry members, Umbrella Aegis has a small team in Mumbai and Delhi and is in the process of hiring more experienced professionals. It was officially introduced to the industry this month.


Commenting on the initiative to start his own agency, Kurapaty said: "15 years of experience in different segments and various channels convinced me to say ‘it's the right time' for myself. Also, there are a lot of strategies that are unexplored and can give better results in the prevailing environment so I needed a better platform in the industry. Although it's difficult to make clients work with a new and different set of people, Umbrella Aegis will be able to make a mark in the industry soon."


Kurapaty has about 15 years of sales experience in different segments of the industry, of which five were spent at SpaceandPeople as Sales Head and then Sales Director. Umbrella Aegis aims to serve as venue partner for brands and agencies for all experiential marketing activities and will cater to those looking for one stop solutions for their BTL venue requirements. Its target audience lies in the FMCG, F&B, automobile, electronics, consumer durables and other relevant industry groups.


Speaking about the growth plans for the agency, Kurapaty said: "We will be going step by step, first making a foray into metropolitan cities. We are making an attempt here to share some of the best practices in the industry to serve clients in a smoother process, keeping venue standards in mind."

The recently launched agency aims to fulfill BTL venue requirements of industry members.
