Times Music recently launched volume two of a music album for children titled ‘Lories'. The event took place on May 12 at Sunville Banquets in Mumbai, keeping in mind the significance of the date as Mother's Day. Universal India Events was brought on board to execute this launch event, which was sponsored by Johnson & Johnson under its ‘Baby Bedtime' division.
The album was given the tagline ‘Sleep - The Cradle of Growth', as the music in the album was composed with the intent of putting children to sleep with soft and melodious tunes. Universal India Events attained the Times Music account through its own networking efforts, and was put in charge of complete execution of the album launch, from the event set up to the guest list.
Commenting on overall execution of the event, Dheeraj Aroraa, Business Head, Universal India Events, said: "The event was executed smoothly on the whole. The only challenges we faced were with regard to last minute emergencies and changes. We managed to deal with all on-the-spot issues too, and are very happy with the way the launch was implemented. We hope that our association with Times Music will continue as positively for future events too."
The launch hosted eminent personalities from the music industry like Alka Yagnik and music composer duo Anand and Milind. It was also attended by Kapil Rauunak, who has sung alongside Alka Yagnik in this album, and Rajendra Shekhawat, who is the son of former president Pratibha Patil. Guests were welcomed to the venue by promoters and an anchor. This was followed by an introduction of the concept behind ‘Lories 2' with the help of a music video. One of the highlights of the event was the commemoration of Anand and Milind on having completed 25 years in the industry.
The music album was unveiled at a launch event which was exclusively managed by Universal India Events.
