RW Promotions to manage GlaxoSmithKline activation

| Marketing | May 19, 2011 | News

RW Promotions will execute GlaxoSmithKline's CME activation in the first week of June, which will cover the untapped markets across Uttar Pradesh. The objective of this event is to educate the doctors about the prescriptions given by pharmaceutical companies.

The venue will be accessible to all the local doctors as the CME van will be parked without causing any hindrance to traffic. RW Promotions plans to design a bus in such a fashion that will serve the purpose of a conference room which will be equipped with plush seats having a fold-able writing desk and a 42" LCD screen for the presentation. In addition, standees and a backdrop will be placed around the van.

Commenting on the initiative, Deniz Fernandes, Client Servicing Director, RW Promotions said, "On an average, 30 to 35 doctors attend the CME in a day, which amounts to almost about 1,000 doctors in a month. This activity has been going on for the past one and a half years, and it started off with UP and has now expanded to various markets in the north which includes Bihar, MP, etc. The next focus markets for this year will most probably be the southern markets. Also, with the response from the pharmaceutical industry picking up, we are thinking of investing in more CME vans to cater to the demand."

The objective of this initiative is to reduce travel time for doctors.
