Monte Carlo launches new collections in India

Monte Carlo recently launched its Autumn/Winter Collection 2012 and Print Summer Collection 2013. The unveiling took place at Lake Land Resort in Kolkata for the distributor and dealers on Nov. 21 and 22. The unveiling for the media and public took place at Alpha One Mall in Ahmedabad on Nov. 3. Maverick Entertainment tied up with Monte Carlo to handle all its events. The next unveiling will take place in Bangalore on Dec. 3 and 4.

Maverick Entertainment will promote all the collections of Monte Carlo through fashion shows and events across India. Commenting on the association, Saif Abdali, Founder, Maverick Entertainment, said: "We pitched for this account two years back as it was a brief for the All India Dealers Meet. The concept and ideas which we shared with Monte Carlo completely gelled with the brand legacy. That's the one reason the brand is associated with Maverick. We got selected on the basis of our creatives and vast credentials. After that, since the past two years we are working as their only agency for all their events and promotional activities."

Abdali further added: "We had to conceptualize the ideas which affect the launch of the Monte Carlo new product category. Working with the best logistic and technology providers, we bring with us rich and diverse experience which enables us to execute event flawlessly. As it was a quiet small place to execute such a big fashion show but our well equipped production team made a very catchy setup to attract more and more walking audiences to the venue and mesmerizing lighting effects created a huge appeal during the show."

The stage was about 20 feet long with a ramp about 24 feet long at a height of four feet. The backdrop and side panels were given by the brand. Maverick had used the venial panels and the backlit effect to all panels. There were seven sequences for the fashion show with two sequences for kid's wear. This included the Alpha round (women's wear), Sweat-Shirt round, Sweater round, Denim round, Formal round, etc. Apart from that Maverick had to distribute free coupons and lucky draw prizes so there were anchor-based activities as well. The showcase was for all walking audiences at the mall. At least 2,000 people were present at the mall.

Maverick Entertainment focuses on integrated marketing communications. It has covered around 75 cities, done more than 300 shows, including many multicity promotions across the country.

Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd. is a premium brand in garments from the house of Oswal Woollen Mills Ltd. The collection includes fuss-free, chic cuts and comfort fabrics like cotton and wool which are perfect for the season.
