Marriott Hotels organises tri-city trade show

Marriott Hotels organised a tri-city trade show on Oct. 9, 11 and 12 at Taj Mansingh in Delhi, Taj Vivanta in Bangalore and J.W. Marriott in Mumbai, respectively. The Marriott Trade Show was a platform where the various properties of Marriott throughout the world could showcase their products to the Indian market. INvision Entertainment had undertaken the designing, execution and management of the trade show.


The trade show began with registration where the customers were provided with their badges and a passport that was created in order to ensure that all visitors visit all the stalls. There were booths specifically designed for the Ritz Carlton hotels, Marriott India and the Marriott International hotels. The designing, fabrication and execution of all the booths, layouts, registrations, branding walls and the lamps and candles were handled by INvision Entertainment. The entire printing and technicals were also managed by INvision Entertainment.


There was a lucky draw prize at the trade show which was a 14 night stay at a Marriott hotel in Australia. Along with that, there were various other prizes which comprised of three night stay at various Marriott Hotels throughout the world. The evening after the trade show, a Marriott Dinner was held for the Marriott team and their corporate associates. There were lamps and candles with Marriott branding used in order to decorate the venue.


Commenting on the association with Marriott, Shonette Brako, Senior Executive, INvision Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. said: "INvision and Marriott have a long and strong association. Marriott has been our client since the inception of INvision. We have been their event agency and all of their internal events are handled by INvision." Talking about the challenges of executing such an event, Brako said: "The biggest challenge was to execute the entire set-up of 26 stalls, two branding walls and an elaborate registration area within the seven hours. This challenge was overcome by getting all the material ready for installation into the hotel premises. The support of the hotel team also provided us assistance to complete our set-up despite of the time restriction."
