Katha Weddings, a part of Go Live Media, executed a turnkey wedding reception project for Anthony Clement Terrence and Sonali Annette Cherian.
Speaking about the off beat theme chose for the event, Antara Baruah, Director, Katha Weddings explained, "Since the bride and groom, both are hugely in love with nature, we wanted to design a theme that would be close to their heart. The Jungle, seemed most appropriate! Additionally, we felt the venue had to be definitely somewhere away from the maddening crowd and the bustling city - a place with a water body and lots of big trees."
The Christian wedding took place on the morning of June 7. In the evening, a reception was held at Temple Tree Leisure, a venue with a perfect blend of modern comforts with a rich, rustic ambience, set in a lush nature garden within Bangalore city limits. This eco-friendly venue is built with minimal carbon footprint, using recyclable materials and harnessing natural energy and includes thatched roofs, sprawling lawns and gurgling water bodies.
The theme tended towards a greenish tone, due to the colour's association with nature. Designed with artistic flair and thought, it turned out to be a classy and chic jungle-themed wedding. Leafy green amongst other different shades of green and earth-tone colours were seen in the décor elements.
Centre pieces with dried twigs, hanging candles and orchids on the reception tables looked quite exquisite and well in line with the aesthetics of the venue and theme of the event. The give-away potted plants, again in tune with the theme, made for appropriate wedding memories for the attendees to take back with them.
