Jabong.com launches Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani clothes collections

Jabong.com, the exclusive online shopping partner of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), launched an exclusive YJHD collection of clothes on May 15 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai. The event was conceptualized and managed by Vibgyor Brand Services, which was selected after a multi agency pitch in which they presented the concept of a unique fashion show that would bring alive each of the YJHD looks Jabong.com wanted to showcase.
The mandate given to Vibgyor was to conceptualize a unique way of showcasing the 10 looks Jabong.com wanted to unveil while also highlighting the association with Deepika Padukone, who was a part of the event. Showcasing the youthful element of the movie and its synergies with the fashion quotient of Jabong.com, the event unveiled a collection with funky, quirky and sporty styles of the season and a chance to emulate the looks of the adventurous Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) and elegant Naina (Deepika Padukone) of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The setup comprised a unique backdrop in the form of a TFT screen where a flash presentation of the website was showcased. This was a quick tour of the website showcasing its features, large collection and ease of shopping. There were also logos of the event partners - Dharma Productions and UTV Movies - at various locations around the venue.
Shedding some light on the event flow at the launch event, Ankit Arora, Senior Manager, Vibgyor Brand Services said: "The event started with the emcee creating hype around Jabong.com and how it is a unique e-portal that offers a huge collection. Post that, the quick video tour of the website on a huge TFT screens took place. Models then sashayed down the ramp bringing alive the different YJHD looks offered by Jabong.com. This was followed by the introduction of Deepika and a Q and A round with the media."
The media event was attended by a number of individuals from the press, who were personally invited, along with the winners from a ‘Buy and Win' contest that Jabong.com had held.
