Inorbit Mall has won the Shoppers and Consumer Insights Award in the category of ‘Most Admired Shopping Centre of The Year : Socially Responsible'. It bagged the award for its unique social initiatives, including Aikya, Bodh and LIVE At Inorbit. Everything Goes! Communications helped the shopping centre organise, conceptualise and execute these programs.

While Aikya is a community service initiative with the aim to enhance society's attachment towards essential community services and stay tuned with the social upbringing in this fast paced world; Bodh aims to be a learning, engaging and entertaining school contact program. LIVE At Inorbit provides a unique platform to upcoming talent to perform and exhibit their skills in front of a live audience, free of charge.

Commenting on this achievement, Nishank Joshi, Assistant General Manager, Corporate Communications, Inorbit said, "We are very happy to have won this award as it's a validation that we are on the right path in our endeavour to reach out to the community and society at large." Talking about Inorbit Malls partnership with its agency Everything Goes! Communications, he added, "Everything Goes! Communications has done a fantastic job partnering us in conceptualising and then executing these initiatives."

Vjay Dewan, Business Head, Everything Goes! Communications said, "We feel very proud that our efforts have led to Inorbit Malls having won this much sought after award. As an enterprise, it has constantly been our endeavour to add value to our offerings and understand the needs of our customers. Winning this award is a validation of all the hard work that has gone into these programs."

Commenting on the industry trend, Dewan explained, "Malls being catchment based phenomenon, it is very important to create programs that induce a sense of ownership in the patrons so that they view the mall as theirs and remain loyal. Aikya, Bodh and LIVE at Inorbit create that symbiotic relationship with the catchment which gives them a sense of belonging while sensitizing them to socially relevant issues."

Incidentally, for these same community contact programs last year, Inorbit Malls had bagged the ‘Brand Excellence in Social Marketing' at the Chief Marketing Officer Council (CMO) Asia Awards 2010 held in Singapore.

There were activities like Aikya, Bodh and LIVE At Inorbit, jointly executed by Everything Goes! Communications.
