Inorbit creates a ‘Magical Christmas’ for its patrons

A ‘Magical Christmas’ was celebrated from Dec. 20 to 29 in all Inorbit Malls in six locations - Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vadodara, Pune and Mumbai (Malad and Vashi). The activity, held for Inorbit patrons to touch and experience the sweetness of Christmas, was conceptualised and executed by Everything Goes! Communications.

The focal point of the activity was a giant ‘treat house’ shaped from ice cream waffle cones, with dollops of ice cream, sliding down its walls. Real candies and candy sticks ‘grew’ in the garden of this house - all sorts of candy, as well as donuts, form the décor adornments across the malls. Along with the Christmas candy tree, these installations acted as unique photo points for the patrons of the mall.

Several engaging activities were planned, including topical Christmas workshops (on home décor ideas, wreath-making, etc.), story-telling sessions, spot-the-reindeer contest and a Secret Santa activity where Inorbit shoppers got a chance to become Santa for their loved ones and participate in gift distribution. A choir band performed the traditional fare of Christmas Carols and Santa distributed Christmas goodies as part of this event. Other performances included an elves dance and a season-ending fashion show for kids.

An NGO based activity was also planned where underprivileged children were brought to the mall for an enticing Christmas treat and gifts. A pre-event activity, involving a Santa Bikes parade was also executed across the cities. As part of this, Santas distributed sweets as well as informed people they meet in the catchment about the ‘Magical Christmas’ celebrations.

Speaking about the activity, Vjay Dewan, Chief Creative Guardian, Everything Goes! said: “The objective of the activity was to get into an exciting state of being, to amplify the goodness the festival stands for, to pass on the positive vibe to patrons of the mall and to create unique memories. Every interaction point converted in the shopper being treated via gifts, vouchers, candies, and taking away a sweet memory of the visit. The captivating décor was sure to endear families at the mall."

Everything Goes! Communications was appointed to execute the activity across six malls.
