‘India Rocks' is an event based on the celebration of India's Independence. Planned, managed and executed by Innovations India Advertising & Events, the event took place on Aug. 14 at Sirhind Club in Ambala.
Speaking about the ‘India Rocks' property, Rahul Bali, Managing Director, Innovations India Advertising & Events Pvt. Ltd. said: "The main objective of ‘India Rocks' is to have an evening for the celebrations of India's 67th year of independence. We wanted to make the audiences feel like winners. It was an attempt to take an overview of a DJ based dance party in terms of the conventional perceptions, and also assess the modern day entertainment being provided to all those who attended it."
The event was attended by about 1000 people from Ambala and Chandigarh. Television anchor and model Sakshi was the emcee for the evening and conducted some exciting games on the dance floor. DJ Ana headlined the event and performed to keep the crowd grooving. Various games and competitions were organized and the winners walked away with gift hampers. Apart from the stage for the DJs to perform, a huge L.E.D wall was installed to cover the event live.
Speaking about the challenges faced while executing the event, Bali said: "Providing sufficient lighting for the dance floor for 1000 guests was a challenge with limited options in Ambala city. To overcome this, trussing of 30 feet was put up on either sides of the dance floor, with top of the line lighting. The synthetic surface of the dance floor lit up beautifully and provided a spectacular site to see. The L.E.D wall was installed to cover the event live for the benefit of all those who love watching themselves dance along with scintillating graphics made by us."
The event was covered in local print media (ads and articles) after a press interaction session was organized in Ambala, where representatives of newspapers of the city attended the meet. Apart from this, a number of hoardings were put up across Ambala to create a buzz about the event. Posters were put on stores which draw young crowds like Archie's, Hallmark, Cafe Coffee Day and Barista outlets.
A property of Innovations India, the event was planned, managed and executed by the agency itself.
