Infiniti Mall organizes Funmania 2013 – Wonderland for kids

Funmania 2013 - Wonderland, an initiative for school kids that will hold a number of different activities and entertainment events, started off on April 17 and will continue all the way till June 2 at the Andheri and Malad Infiniti Malls in Mumbai. The Funmania property, which is owned by Infiniti mall, is being executed by Azure MarCom.

Commenting on the property and its initiation, SK Bharti, Founder and Director, Azure MarCom said: "Funmania was initiated in order to bring relief to school kids who desperately need a change from their hectic school timetables. This season we brought a new twist to the old Funmania property by bringing in a Wonderland theme to it. From concept creation of Wonderland to the execution of the same, each and every detail has to be undertaken by us. Our roles included décor, event concept and management."

The setup at the Andheri malls start with an entrance arch laden with wonder masks, lights and jazzy glittery stars. As for the Malad mall setup, it includes a rich bright Wonderland-like castle. Other than that the setup at the malls include Wonderland circus tents, a Wonder tree with a Wonder Arch, Wonderland flora and fauna elements etc.


To keep the excitement level up Azure MarCom suggested that the old format of workshops be discontinued and in its place there be table activities like sand painting, puppet making, name plate making, hair breeding, stone painting, flower making, miniature art, tattoo making etc. Apart from that there are also various entertainment performance activities like samba dancing, Zumba dancing, hip-hop, fusion bands, street dances, contemporary dance style performances, mixed martial arts acts along with knowledge imparting sessions on self defense etc.

To make the event more interesting a property called Wonder Kids was created by Azure MarCom where participants (kids picked up from the mall via the registration desk) will be thoroughly trained for a dance competition by a professional choreographer. In the last weekend, which is May 31, June 1 and 2, the semi finals and finals will be held for the same. The selected kids will be awarded the title of Wonder Kid Boy and Wonder Kid Girl. The winners will be chosen based on three attributes - dance performance, presentation skills and confidence level. Additionally, the mall will also offer various games with instant prizes to be won.

The property is being promoted through outdoor, digital and print inserts around Mumbai. In terms of partners, ZQ has come on board as Edutainment Partner and have been given a desk to promote themselves along with other logo mentioning opportunities in the media release.

The Funmania property, which is owned by Infiniti mall, is being executed by Azure MarCom.
