On the basis of our previous performance, we got the opportunity to manage the grand finale of SRGMP - L'il Champs this time in Surat. However, there was a multiple agency and production house pitch process conducted. On the basis of our presentation, experience to handle such events, expertise and execution skills in the previous events, the mandate to manage this event was given to us."
Commenting on the challenges faced while executing the event, Tilwankar added: "The challenge for us was to arrange for alternate power supply (Gensets) that would be sufficient to run the air conditioning of an indoor stadium (1 lakh sq. ft space), along with catering to the requirements of light and sound. The total requirement went to 3,500 KVA. The other major challenge was to maintain law and order through security personnel, in association with the local police authority."
