Everything Goes! debuts in Delhi with Pacific Mall tie up

Mumbai-based Everything Goes! Communications has partnered with Pacific Mall, New Delhi, to organise the ‘Pacific Summer Star', a competitive talent platform for kids, from May 19 to June 10. The event will culminate with a grand finale where the daily contest winners will compete to be the ‘Pacific Summer Star' and win the grand prize.
PPZ, the mall management company that runs the operations of Pacific Mall, approached Everything Goes! to understand synergies since they work in the space of mall management and the agency is heavily involved in experiential marketing and design, particularly in the retail real estate space. Speaking about their Delhi debut, Vjay Dewan, Chief Creative Guardian, Everything Goes! Communications said: "We are very excited to be working in Delhi, for which we have associated with PPZ. With Pacific Summer Star, we are debuting in Delhi and hope to create a mark in retail events, design and activations here, just as we have done in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad."
Pacific Summer Star aims to prepare kids for their progress outside of school. The contest has three levels that involve games that test participants' physical and mental skills through games like crossing a rope bridge, solving jigsaw puzzles, etc. The Knowledge Star Game, which tests the knowledge of a participant, will be played once every hour on a daily basis. Participants will be evaluated on the basis of criterion like knowledge, creativity, skills and physical endurance. The last two days of the event will see a mega competition between the top 15 daily winners, based on the points collected competing in a two round contest - the talent show and a fashion show.
Those who wish to participate must register themselves, at which point they receive a Summer Star Booklet in which the activities and the points collected at the various levels of the contest are recoded. They have to participate in three activities in order to qualify for the Knowledge Star Game. In order to acknowledge and award multiple visits to the mall during the event period, various milestones will be determined based on points, so that participants can win assured prizes including gift vouchers of up to Rs. 1,000, meal vouchers, movie and game CDs, cameras, etc.
Commenting on the initiative, Dewan said: "To beat the summer heat, our objective was to create a summer play park within the mall for the kids that will allow the kids to let their hair down and enjoy their summer holidays, while parents could spend some quality time shopping. Hence, we came up with the idea of ‘Pacific Summer Star' where we conduct activities that acknowledge kids with all round ability and honour them on a daily basis by engaging them in fun activities. Delhi kids are amongst the brightest and most competitive in the country, and we have visualized this particular event keeping this trait in mind. We are confident that they will fully enjoy this and participate in large numbers. And the parents will be happy too!"
