Reputed taxi aggregator TaxiForSure.com (TFS) joined hands with Fever 104 FM, NGO Goonj and jkfloodrelief.org to provide relief for the Jammu & Kashmir flood victims.
Starting last month, TFS's cabs are currently driving around Bangalore to collect food, clothing, blankets and any other essentials being donated by citizens for the cause, from their homes, offices, etc.
Fever 104 FM is not only creating a buzz on air and urging people to donate, but is also tracing the taxis and talking to donors to hear their thoughts and how they hope to make a difference through the donation. To hail the special cab to make their donation, all citizens had to do was text TFS.
TFS also launched a #BangaloreSelfie video with an intent to spread the message of ‘Be Happy & Stay Happy'. Based on Pharell Williams' song called ‘Happy', the Bengaluru version of the selfie video by TFS is the first desi adaptation of the video till date. The video can be viewed below.
TFS asked selfie lovers across the city to join them at various pubs in the city to make the official #BangaloreSelfie video. The response was convincing with selfie addicts showing their love and support by turning up in huge numbers to celebrate with TFS. Apart from these pics, TFS also received over 300 selfies through social media to be included in the video too.
Commenting on the campaign, a TaxiForSure.com spokesperson said: "The aim of the campaign was to spread the message of ‘Do not drink and drive'. After the party hours, the residents at select pubs in Bangalore got a free safe ride back home."
The taxi company partnered with Fever 104 FM, NGO Goonj and JKFloodRelief.org.
