The candidate needs to ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance. Responsibilities - Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives - Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success - Ability to propose appropriate event proposals/venues etc. to meet corporate and creative objectives - Ability to think creatively and make presentations as per the brief - Prepare budgets and ensure adherence - Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers - Coordinate all operations with the respective internal teams - Lead promotional activities for the event - Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur - Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports Requirements - Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in event management - Skilled in project management - Knowledge of new marketing techniques for event management - Good business communication skill i.e. email, letters, reports, presentation, etc. - Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all walks of life - Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure - Outstanding negotiation ability - Excellent organisational skills - Proactive, flexible, exemplary attention to detail - Problem-solving skills and diplomacy - Customer-service orientation - A team player - Flexibility to adapt to market trends and new approaches in organizing events
