Mr. Vinay Bhatia joined Shopper’s Stop Limited as Customer Care Associate & Vice President -Marketing & Loyalty in the year 2007. He brings to Shoppers Stop his 15 years of immense experience in the Sales & Marketing of consumer products.

As the head of Marketing & Loyalty function at Shopper’s Stop Limited, Mr. Bhatia ably provides his team the strategic directions to achieve the business goals set by the organisation. He is responsible for the development of the Brand towards the desired perception through marketing tools such as Advertising, innovation promotions and Public Relations, and management of Shoppers Stop First Citizen Loyalty Programme of the company.

Prior to acquiring this significant position at Shoppers Stop, Mr. Bhatia was General Manager, Marketing at Sunshine India Lottery, a Start-up company. He later joined Blowplast as General Manager, Marketing and moved on to lead value retail at the Pantaloons Retail India Limited as the Chief Marketing Officer.

Apart from holding important positions at Asian Paints, Lintas Advertising & Marico, Mr. Bhatia has been active on cross functional team projects at Marico like Point of Sales, Utilisation by Sales, Media optimization, e-Business Strategy & Revamping MBR structure.

Mr. Bhatia has completed his Master of Management Studies from Sydenham Institute of Management, Bombay University. He has done his Bachelor of Science in Statistics (with Computer Programming as Applied Component) from St. Xavier’s College, University.
