RMAI Announces Shortlisted Entries of the Emerging Markets Category for Flame Awards Asia 2017

Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), the apex body in the domain of Rural Marketing in the country Is ready to host the 8th edition of Flame Awards Asia 2017 on April 28, 2017 at Taj Vivanta, Dwarka. RMAI Flame Awards Asia is the most coveted and exclusive rural marketing awards platform in the country. To enhance the reach of these awards and to celebrate the best rural marketing practices from South Asia, RMAI this year had added categories exclusively for international contestants and rural marketing journalists as well.

The grand Jury meet for the selection of shortlisted entries for was held on April 18 at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka. The meet saw a highly-experienced jury drawn from diverse industry sectors of India and participating countries including the Jury Chair S Sivakumar- CEO – ITC Ltd deliberating for long hours to boil down the final nominations for each category of the awards from over 25 International and 225 domestic entries this year.  Ernst & Young were the official tabulators for the screening process.

Commenting on the jury screening, Sanjay Kaul, President, RMAI said, "We are overwhelmed with the kind of response we have received this year, especially from overseas. This edition of Flame is seeing many firsts; new categories, diversified sectors, many new entrants and in fact many new participating countries. Flame Awards have now become an excellent platform to Collaborate & Co-share best of the best Rural Marketing practices not only in India but also in Asia."
