The Take Solutions India Golf Awards 2017 concluded a spectacular fourth edition on March 6 at the Roseate House, Aerocity New Delhi, complete with top golfers and the country’s most influential attendees. The event picked ‘turned back time’ as a theme reflecting on the history of golf, bringing alive vintage ideas on a specially crafted stage and design.
Yellow Stage Events & Exhibitions executed the Take Solutions India Golf Awards 2017 in its fourth year, celebrating a special edition of - ‘Golf For Good’ - tracing the history of golf and its stellar milestones.
The evening was about celebrating the Game of Golf in India, highlight the increasingly growing interest in the game over the years and recognise men and women who have become ambassadors of the sport.
The brief from the client to Yellow Stage was to create an old vintage theme that would bring out and highlight this growth of Golf in India and the challenge was to create all this in a very limited space. The agency aimed at creating a visual story that could immediately take the audience back in time, highlight the theme and be visually appealing.
Therefore, in order to bring out the theme and optimally utilise the space, the main stage was designed to portray an old fashioned Golf Course in the 1800’s with an old architectural Golf Club building and the Pro Shop. A creative depiction on a 32 ft. wide wall showcased the Indian history of golf from the year 1829 to 2016, higlighting notable & key milestones of Golf in India.
Former finance minister of India P Chidambaram, Sachin Pilot and the Chief Guest of the evening, Amitabh Kant, the CEO of NITI Aayog were some of the key speakers of the evening. The evening was attended by members of the crème de la crème of the country’s golf fraternity to celebrate & acknowledge excellence in Golf.
Commenting on the execution by Yellow Stage, Founder of Golfingindian.com and SheThePeople.TV Shaili Chopra said, “Designing a brand new experience is something that can be a game changer for attendees. I am delighted that we picked a vintage theme and Yellow Stage put it together in the most professional way, with great attention to detail.”
