Moets Catering was responsible for the F&B at this Mehendi-Cocktail at the client’s private farmhouse in Chhatarpur, New Delhi.
The client, Director of Dubai based 'Link Global Group' hosted this gorgeous afternoon mehendi followed by a musical sundowner, which started at 4pm and went on till 1 am on November 13.
Therefore the catering company used wooden display; there was no use of satin or table linen. Elements like wine bottles, wooden crates, wine barrels, vending carts and wooden huts were used as part of the display.
In terms of food, Moets Catering focused on a lot on live counters. The spread of the food was global and comprehensive with great emphasis on appetizers.
For snacks, Moets Catering also suggested Tandoori Tikkas and kebabs which are no doubt a cliché, but also certainly a must-have at Indian weddings. These included Mutton Seekh, Burrah kebabs, Galoutis, etc.
Interestingly, some fancy and visually appealing snacks like bacon-wrapped asparagus, shrimp cocktail, crostinis, liver pate on melba toast and crispy aromatic duck rolls were served in martini glasses, soup spoons, wooden platters and individual mini bone china!
Live wood-fired thin crust pizzas were hand rolled in front of the guests, while an exquisite range of freshly steamed dimsums were served in wooden carts. Live seafood grills like char grilled prawns and peppercorn pink salmon were also on offer. The Teppanyaki and sushi stations were a super-hit among most guests!
Following the client brief, the buffet décor was kept very stylish, countryside and minimalistic unlike a typical Indian wedding celebration.
