Red FM goes on-ground to promote Indian hockey team in Delhi

Red FM has gone on-ground to promote the Indian Hockey team in Delhi over the past week, as a buildup to the Hockey World Cup hosted in the Capital. Red FM's RJs toured key touch points in Delhi with an eight-foot hockey stick, interacting with people and asking them to sign the hockey stick as a mark of their support to the Indian team. This hockey stick would be presented to the Indian hockey team as a token of the best wishes.
Anuj Singh, National Marketing Head and Station Head-Mumbai, Red FM, said, "Red FM has always lent support to important events in the country. The year 2010 is a very important year for sports in India and hosting the Hockey World Cup is a matter of pride for Indians, considering that hockey is the national game of the country. This tournament will continue to get our support and our RJs will ensure that the same spirit is transferred to all sporting enthusiasts."
A press communique informed that thousands of listeners and people of the city had already made a pledge of support. As a part of this support initiative, Red FM is also giving away hockey sticks to its listeners.
