India TV honoured the ‘Bravehearts' of the nation through the second edition of ‘Salaam India Awards'. The event, executed by Showtime, was conducted at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi on Sept. 21.

Fitting the ceremony were the touching performances by Ability Unlimited, a dance troupe comprising differently-abled dancers and sand artist Nitish Bharti. The 14 awards were given out across four categories: Bravery, Gallantry, Jyoti Singh Awards and Special.
