Sony Music's Day1 and Oranjuice Entertainment have collaborated to organise ‘Live from The Console at Rowson's Reserve Smooth Spaces' with an aim to provide a platform for former indie bands to showcase their talent. This is the seventh edition of the festival, which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 25 at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, Mumbai.

This edition will screen documentaries such as Leonard Cohen-Live in London, while Alisha Pais, Slow Down Clown and Punk Ass Orifus will perform as part of the event. Around 400 to 500 music-aficionados are expected to attend the event. The set will comprise of a basic setup as it is a recording room in which the event will be held.

Speaking about the event, Owen Roncon, Partner, Oranjuice Entertainment said: "We have been active in executing a lot of music events and wanted to be more evolved by contributing towards a platform that was beneficial to both the consumers and the artists. Sony Music's Day1 and Oranjuice both wanted to do something related to Indie music and hence, initiated ‘Live from the Console'. Earlier, we hosted this event once a month, but from this edition, we will host it twice a month due to the demand from consumers."

The sponsor associated with this property is Diageo's premium whisky brand, Rowson's Reserve. The brand will benefit from branding on the collateral used to promote the property, sample distribution, as well as interactions with consumers at the event, to build a brand value.

SOUND.COM will be providing audio solutions this year.
