BIG FM Kanpur celebrates four years with BIG Chowki

Reliance Broadcast Network's radio arm, 92.7 BIG FM Kanpur, has completed four years of successful operation in the city in which it has undertaken some historic campaigns and redefined the meaning of radio and its reach. The network which already marks its presence in 45 cities across India started its journey in 2007.
On its fourth anniversary, BIG FM has organized a four-day long campaign, "BIG Chowki: Arz nahi ab darz karo, BIG ke sath pura apna farz karo". District Magistrate Dr. Hariom inaugurated the campaign, while DIG Rajesh Rai and ADM Shailendra Singh supported the campaign and were present as guests of honour.
BIG Chowki is a medium between the administration and Kanpurites. The station has created a three feet by two feet long notebook in which people can register both their pleasant and sour experiences in the city. BIG Chowki will reach out to the masses and will let them write their feedback about the city. The campaign will end on June 27, when the BIG Notebook with peoples' feedback will be handed over to the District Magistrate. He will then address the most common problems on the breakfast show, ‘Laughter Mornings' on 92.7 BIG FM.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagmeet Singh Bahri, Cluster Head, 92.7 BIG FM (U.P) said: "In continuation with our tagline, Suno Sunao - Life Banao, for the past four years we have been entertaining our listeners as well as creating awareness pertaining to various issues and events. For the last four years, we have promised and delivered radio in a true ‘Life Banao' style and this can be proved by the constant positive response we have got from our consumers and customers. Be it our programming or on-ground offerings, our constant endeavour have been to provide wholesome entertainment. The coming year will see more of such offerings to strengthen our relationship with listeners, where we will engage and entertain them and enrich their lives."
