AGP launches Multi Million Race Day

Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) organised the Multi Million Race Day on Feb. 19 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai. The event included eight races and entertainment in the form of music, art, theatre, comedy, fashion and culture.
This race is an intellectual property of AGP, which aims to build it year-over-year. The races included AGP-The Big Fat Squeeze Trophy, The Artiere Trophy, AGP-History Of India Trophy, AGP-Blame It On Yashraj Trophy, AGP-The Tao Art Gallery Trophy, The AGP Multimillion Day-AGP Multi Millionaire Trophy, Dr. Jagjit Tribute Million Trophy and AGP-The Art Of Experiences Trophy.
Speaking about the event, Ashvin Gidwani, Managing Director, Ashvin Gidwani Productions said: "This race day not only showcased the races but also showcased the cultural and rich heritage of Maharashtra. I see a great potential in this sport and find it to be a classy sport. We have done more than 7,000 events and have gathered expertise in organising, managing and executing events."
The event, which was attended by corporates, the racing audience, members of the club, celebrities and socialites, witnessed performances by Anushka Manchanda, Shibani Kashyap, Neha Bhasin, Mauli Dave, Shibani Dandekar and Apeksha Dandekar, and Clinton and Dominic Cerejo. Additionally, there was a performance on drums by Sanjay Maroo. Around 9,000 people attended the event.
Furthermore, there was a fashion show organised by Azeem Khan who bestowed the ‘Fashion Statement Award' on the best dressed lady of the day. The event witnessed an art exhibition by Tao Art Gallery wherein Kalpana Shah exhibited her work and a Mandala painting exhibition exhibited by Manjou Lamba. Artist MF Hussain's artwork was also on display.
There was also a stand up performance by Sorabh Pant and Paritosh Painter, while Radhika from Radhikas Fine Teas and Whatnots displayed the varieties of tea. A Maharashtrian cultural programme, Jatra, was also held at the event.
Sponsors for the event were ITC, Tao Art Gallery, Azeem Khan Couture and Grand Hyatt, among others. The sponsors were promoted through print and broadcast media, radio and OOH media, as well as on-ground visibility through kiosks, LED screens etc. The event was streamed live on the RWITC website.
