Ad:tech New Delhi’s maiden success paves the way for the next edition

India hosted its maiden edition of the ad:tech conference in April 2011 in New Delhi, with more than 2,500 delegates attending the event. In the wake of this success, the next year's edition of the Indian leg is scheduled to take place from Feb. 22 to 24, 2012, at The Leela Kempinski in New Delhi. This event will be executed by Networkplay Media Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with dmg events.
Ad:tech is an interactive advertising and technology conference and exhibition which, over the course of more than 10 years, has given media, marketing and technology professionals the tools and techniques they need to succeed in an ever-changing digital world. Ad:tech conducts shows every year in Tokyo, New York, New Delhi, Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, Singapore and London.

With its return, the conference promises to be bigger, better and bolder; featuring more tracks and sessions, a larger exposition area, and taking place across three days as opposed to the earlier two. The agenda for ad:tech New Delhi 2012 includes two parallel tracks of panel discussions, with 18 sessions conducted by experts from the advertising, media and marketing industry. The conference will have over 80 industry stalwarts as speakers, including seven groundbreaking keynotes, namely Shiv Singh, Global Head of Digital, PepsiCo Beverages; Gian M. Fulgoni, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder, comScore Inc.; Kent Wertime, President and Representative Director, Ogilvy & Mather (Japan) K. K. and COO, Ogilvy Asia Pacific; and Arvind Rajan, Managing Director & Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan, LinkedIn.
The April edition featured presentations by global experts like Babs Rangaiah, VP Global Communications Planning, Unilever; Elisa Steele, CMO, Yahoo; and Rajan Anandan, MD, Google India; among others. Ad:tech New Delhi 2011 also saw David Fischer, VP of Advertising and Global Operations, Facebook, officially announcing that Facebook had crossed 25 million users in India.
