In keeping with E18's campaign to create mega knowledge platforms for the Indian industry, the HR Leadership Conclave 2011 initiative aimed to bring key industry stakeholders such as CHRO, GM, CEOs, HOD (HR, Admin, Recruitment, Training) and others from the HR industry together to interact with experts from those areas that will play critical roles as catalysts and partners in progress on the journey towards realizing long-term goals. The event was attended by over 250 senior professionals from the HR fraternity.
The conclave created a platform to discuss the concerns and issues faced by HR management such as talent management, compensation and psychological contracting, training and development, performance management system, employee engagement, HR and technology. The sessions focused on these are working so far, the impact that social networking has on employee mindset, upsides and downsides, what the typical people and organization related issues in M&A are, HR's role in ensuring a seamless post-merger integration, and the key imperatives for effective HR Due Diligence.
