Cream Events manages launch event for 'The Collective' in Delhi

Cream Events managed the launch event for 'The Collective', a premium fashion retail store by Madura Garments and part of the Aditya Birla Group. The event took place on September 4 in New Delhi at Ambience Mall.

Harshad Chavan, Managing Director, Cream Events said, "We had earlier managed launch event for Collective in Mumbai in 2009. For that event, we had managed three fashion shows one featuring traditional line by Rohit Bal, Western line by Richard James and Mix by Manish Malhotra. This time for the Delhi launch after the pitch we wanted to do something unique that would appeal to people in Delhi. Thus instead of fashion shows that happen every time at store launches, we've conceptualised a Fashion Theatre, a mini skit directed by Manish Malhotra and starring Karan Johar, Rohit Bal, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Lulu Guiness and Jeremy Hackett."

The backdrops of fashion capitals like New York, London and Milan were designed and created for the event. It was a 20 min skit. The event was by invitations only and was attended by over 250 guests. The guest list comprised of celebrities and socialites.
