Teacher’s Achievement Awards presents Achievers Club
Fri 13 January 2012
Beam Inc. flagged off the 11th edition of the Teacher's Achievement Awards, a celebration to commend and recognize outstanding achievers in the field of business, sports, communication, and entertainment, which includes a lifetime achievement award. The award flagged off with a special 14-part televised series, Achievers' Club, on Star World in the month of November 2011 and will be followed by the Teacher's Achievement Awards which will be hosted in February. The event will be managed and executed by Wizcraft.

The objective behind this initiative is to create a platform which showcases achievers and showcases people as role models so that they may go on to be an inspiration to others. Unlike the previous edition, the awards will broadcast in the form of a series of television episodes.

Speaking about the introduction of the Achievers' Club by the Teacher's Achievement Awards, Harish Moolchandani, CEO and Managing Director, Beam India and ISC said: "The Teacher's Achievement Awards are a celebration of the spirit of achievement at the highest level across different spheres spanning business, sport, communication and entertainment. With the debut of the Achievers' Club on Star World, we would like to showcase to the world the celebrated life of achievers, their lifestyle and their passions, as shared with Vir Sanghvi in the series. This is a worthy addition as we move into the second decade of the Teacher's Achievement Awards."

The theme for this year will be signature and autographs. Each achiever will be identified by their signature work and the field in which they have gained excellence. The Achievers' Club will showcase the lives of the self-made achievers who are an inspiration to humanity through the 14-episode series wherein India's achievers like KP Singh, Vidya Balan, Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Naveen Jindal, Manish Arora, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, and many more will share their success mantras and lavish lifestyle with the host Vir Sanghvi. The event hosts about 500 guests every year and the guests will be a mix of stakeholders, members of the advisory board, corporate leaders, entertainers and communicators.

To promote the awards, a television campaign was launched beginning from the New Year, and the print campaign began in the second week of January. Other mediums through which the property is being promoted is outdoors, digital and social media. Promotions are also being conducted across major airports and cities.

Speaking about the event, Sabbas Joseph, Director, Wizcraft said: "The spirit of achievement and the salute to excellence is a unique space which serves as a brand position. The aspirational quality of achievement becomes the core personality of the brand. Wizcraft has been associated with The Teacher's Achievement Awards since 2003. This is the ninth year of our association with the brand and the property. Wizcraft has been an integral part of growing this property from strength to strength. We will bring our experience, knowledge and connectivity to provide depth and perfect execution."
