In a bid to engage corporate professionals through a fun activity, Woot Factor organised and managed Stills, a Corporate Photography Festival. The initiative commenced in mid-June and culminated on August 14 with a gala event at R City Mall, Ghatkopar in Mumbai where 65 photographs were displayed across the venue.

 

Amit Relan, Co-Producer, Woot Factor, said, "Through the initiative our aim was to engage employees of companies across all levels and borders. We contacted companies by visiting their offices and online mediums to get registrations for the event. Ten photographs were selected by the HR department of each company and submitted their works for the competition. Our judges selected the top 65 images from the lot, which were put up on display at the mall."

 

Companies that participated in Stills included Hurix, Directi, Epicenter, Deloitte, K Raheja, Wipro infotech amongst others. Around 500 amateur photographers from 50 corporates participated and showcased their hidden talent. The jury for Stills comprised of TV Star, Shweta Salve; renowned photographer, Rafique Sayed and Editor of Lonely Planet Magazine (India), Vardhan.

 

Winners were given an International Holiday by Cox & Kings, Cameras from Olympus and a special feature which will appear in the September issue of Lonely Planet Magazine (India). The Sponsors for the event were Lonely Planet Magazine (India), Cox & Kings, Istore (A Reliance Digital company) and Olympus.
