To bring the cricketing action closer to the media, the venues were designed to look like a cricket stadium, complete with floodlights, green carpets, ticket counters, stadium seating, LED screens, etc, which served to enhance the feel of the occasion. The event was attended by eminent cricket personalities like Harsha Bhogle, Sanjay Manjarekar, and Navjot Singh Siddhu, along with the four anchors of Extraa Innings T20, Samir Kochhar, Gaurav Kapur, Shibani Dandekar and Archana Vijaya.
The press conference also featured interactive activities which were led by the four anchors. They formed teams from among the media audience and played various cricket oriented games to boost the media's cricket enthusiasm by giving them a taste of the game itself.
