The décor of the event was made green to symbolise the field of the cricket ground. This year, the property was sponsored by UB Spirits, which benefited through branding of its Kingfisher products at the venue. The tournament engaged 275 people at the event.
The award function witnessed attendance of dignitaries such as Vilasrao Deshmukh, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Debashish Ghosh, Director, The Times of India Group. Participants included corporate houses and clubs like Tata Sports Club, BPCL, Central Railway, RBI Sports Club, Repro India, Intelenet Global Cricket Club, Naval Dockyard Cricket Club, and others.
Speaking about the event, Manoj Gopalani, Director, Seventy Seven said: "The Times Cricket Shield Awards was an exceptional gesture of corporate friendship.
