Aiming to promote rock and international music, Reliance TimeOut - the books, music, stationery, toys and gifts store of Reliance Retail - brings Rock Fest 2012. The Reliance TimeOut Rock Fest 2012 began on June 22 and will continue till July 31.

The event, which has been running for three years, is being held across various Reliance TimeOut outlets, and features offers on a wide range of popular albums and compilations of rock's greatest acts. Merchandise such as posters, 3D stickers and posters, t-shirts, notepads and more are also available.

There are also live performances, contests, in-store rock trivia, online quizzes (online), 'buy 3 get 3 free' offers, and a chance to own exclusive Michael Jackson merchandise on a purchase of Rs. 700 and above. Fans can also pose with cutouts of their favorite rockstars for photographs.

Apart from these offers, other activities at all the Reliance TimeOut outlets include contests like the 'Battle of Bands' and ‘Dress like a Rockstar/Diva' contest for kids.

The Battle of Bands Contest is being held in Bangalore, Kochi, Mumbai and Gurgaon. This battle will see a clash of amateur bands who perform live in pursuit of the ‘Rock Crown'. Customers can vote for their favourite band through Facebook between July 15 and July 22. The Rock Fest will conclude on July 31 with the ‘Battle of Bands' finale at Reliance TimeOut, Mantri Mall, Bangalore.

Reliance TimeOut stores have been set up by Reliance Retail Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, managed by Mukesh Ambani.
