The most voted Totka was by a cricket crazy enthusiast who cleans his colony prior to every match of India. Hence, Red FM not only helped this fan to clean his colony but also took a massive cleanliness drive across the city to ensure that any obstacle that comes in the way of an Indian win is eliminated.
Commenting on this initiative, Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP - Projects and Programming, Red FM said, "When it comes to cricket, there are superstitions galore that fans resort to. With our Totka activity, we managed to get maximum participation from cricket fans across the city. Australia is a tough opponent so we had to up the ante for this Totka to work. We also roped in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to help us undertake a mass cleanliness drive across the city. We hope the Totka works in our favour. If India reaches the semi final, listeners can rest assured that Red FM Delhi will leave no stone unturned to help India reach the final!"
The execution of the Totka, along with MCD councilors for each area driving the initiative with Red FM, was undertaken across areas starting from Sadar Bazar at 10.30 AM, followed by Karol Bagh, RK Puram and concluding at Ashok Vihar at 6 pm. Red FM OB RJs were constantly on the move and managed to garner active participation from the people.
