The top media men of the automobile industry in Delhi and Mumbai participated in the night drive. This drive offered guests a chance to test all the aspect of the VW Jetta TSI, with exclusive access to some of the city's busiest roads to test drive Volkswagen's latest addition to the Indian market. The 72 km drive was flagged off from the JW Marriott at 3 AM, with the route mapped into the GPS systems fitted in the cars.
The drive was interspersed with strategically located pit stops, each themed to accentuate a different feature of the car. These pit stops at the NCPA, Marine Drive and Asiatic Library were the highlights of the drive. The media also had the chance to capture night shots of the car with the Queen's necklace at the Marine Drive and The Asiatic as backdrops.
Speaking on the execution of the VW Jetta TSI Night Drive, Nazneen Karimi, Business Head, Percept ICE said: "We have been associated with Volkswagen for quite some time now. Providing the media with the chance to explore the ‘POWER', ‘PERFORMANCE' and ‘EFFICIENCY' of the Volkswagen Jetta TSI, we aimed to deliver an experience like never before. The crowded streets of Mumbai are quiet and serene at night; this was the perfect opportunity to not only explore the car but also explore Mumbai. The sunrise provided the perfect backdrop to mark the end of the drive, because the Volkswagen Jetta TSI is a new dawn of the auto industry."
A speed drive was also held at the BKC to allow the media to test the car's acceleration. Special permission for this speed drive was acquired by Percept ICE.
