Pepsi ensures ‘Dil maange more’ with a family day function
Fri 16 December 2011
Happy families create happier employees, which is necessary for a great work environment. Keeping this in mind, PepsiCo contracted Shobiz Experiential Communications to organise a family day for their employees at Mallu Farms in Delhi on Dec. 11.

"It was an event organised especially for all our employees and also to thank those who have been here for 15 and 20 years," said Madhu Rajesh, Manager -Internal Communications, PepsiCo.

The concept of the annual day was ‘rhythm'. This ensured a day full of fun, filled with music and games to engage the employees of PepsiCo and their families. The function was divided into various zones -a grand stage arena, a group games zone, and team and individual game zones. Naughty children were definitely the highlight of the day.

Shobiz Experiential Communications had arranged for an arena that showcased a dance performance by youngsters, which was choreographed by Shaimak Davar's troupe.

PepsiCo awarded the contract to Shobiz after a multi agency pitch. The employees club of PepciCo voted for the agency from a pool of five. "The Shobiz team wasa calm and composed team as well as resourceful. Timely deliverance is their USP," said Rajesh.

"We have been associated with PepsiCo for three years in the BTL space. This is first year that we won the mandate to handle PepsiCo's family day. We were a part of the rigorous pitching process and Shobiz was selected on the basis of our design and ideas," said Deepak Madan, General Manager (Delhi), Shobiz Experiential Communications.

There were no other vendors involved in the programme. Stage, lighting, sound and decoration were all sourced in-house.
