Panasonic had earlier announced its partnership with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to promote the game of football in India. Since then, Panasonic has been actively associated with the promotion of football and to promote this, they had earlier brought the national team to their concept showroom, Lifescapes as well.
Manish Sharma, Director Marketing at Panasonic said, "We are proud to be associated with the game of football, and such big legends make our association even more special. The fan base of the English Premier League in India is growing exponentially. Keeping that in mind, Bryan Robson was a natural choice to invite to our showroom, having earned his fame formerly playing for the English Club, Manchester United . This is a small initiative on the part of Panasonic to promote sports. Panasonic LifeScape is the ideal place for such an interface as LifeScape is an interactive medium allowing consumers to experience cutting edge products and technologies."
Poonam, Managing Partner, Marketing Solutions informed, "The agency was involved from the planning stage and as part of the event, sent interactive mailers to Lifescape's existing clients and invited children and youngsters for a special interaction with the legend. We did up the entire store with giant cutouts of Bryan and the entire store looked like a football ground, with footballs strewn around for visitors to get autographs on. A net area was set up and photo opportunity zones were created for people who wanted to carry back memories of the day."
Consumers can also experience a chronological journey of the brand's past, present and future at LifeScape in its Philosophy, Eco and Welcome Zone. The store will showcase a wide array of Panasonic products in different sections ranging from health to personal care products, from home appliances to office automation products and consumer durables.
