Line Communications' mandate included presenting a design idea, setting up the venue for the event, managing the technical and sound requirements for the evening, along with artist management. The theme for the evening was ‘The Festive Colours of India', which was reflected in the look and feel of the venue.
Beginning at 7.30 PM, the night saw a variety in Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine, along with red and white wines. The contemporary fusion band Mrigya brought the evening's theme to life with their fusion of blues, funk, folk, latino, Indian classic and jazz music.
Commenting on the event and its execution, Raghavendra Singh, Senior VP, Group Corporate Relations, Kotak Mahindra Bank said: "Kotak wanted to hold an event for its key business associates and clients. Line Communications has been working very closely with the Kotak Group for the past two years and has been an integral part of our parties and other events. This year, the theme chosen was festive colours of India, which the team did an exceptional job in executing through floral, linen and other elements."
Chetan Vohra, CEO, Line Communications added: "Kotak's party has come to be regarded as a calendar event, solely because it is hosted by Mr.Uday Kotak and Dr. Shankarcharya themselves, and we at Line Communications consider it our privilege to be chosen as their agency for the second time in a row. The event held just a week before holi had us experimenting with varied colour pallets that one does not get to use too much in corporate shows."
