Every year, entries from radio stations, networks and independent producers are received from over 30 countries. These entries are judged online by a grand jury comprising of top level industry professionals from five continents and across 25 countries.
In this edition, the grand jury has short-listed 183 entries from 26 countries as finalists for the awards. The entries were received under 14 broad categories - News Programs, News Reports / Features, Information / Documentary, Entertainment, Talk Programs, On-Air Talent, Craft and Technique, Programming Format, Morning Drive Time Programming, Promotion Spots and IDs, Online, Audio Podcast, Satellite Radio, and Student.
According to an official press release from Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. (RBNL), of the 183 finalists, RBNL's 92.7 BIG FM has been shortlisted for eight nominations across several categories.
