Held at the Karnavati Club on Jan. 16, the Idea Kite Festival was a fusion of tradition, fun, food, music and activities such as free kites and phirki, DJ music, a puppet show, a tattoo artist, magician, a food court, etc.

Idea also felicitated the winner of the VAS contest ‘Shandaar Car Challenge'. Shantilal G. Katariya, from Rajkot, won a brand new Maruti Alto for being the highest scorer in the contest among a Idea Cellular, Idea Kite Festivalll participants in the West Zone. The contest witnessed participation from more than 1 lakh Idea subscribers from Gujarat, who competed with other Idea subscribers pan India.
