The Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA), a non-profit trade association of professional pest management companies in India, organised its annual general body meeting and conference. The 43rd IPCA Annual Convention was held at Jaypee Mussoorie in the second week of August. The event was managed by event agency Vdoit4u, which has been handling IPCA meetings and conferences for seven years now.
Varun Malik from Vdoit4u, said, "The client basically wanted to conduct the annual general body meeting alongwith some cultural program showcasing North India. Moreover, the client wanted a location which was different from the usual Jaipur and Goa. Mussoorie was suggested and a complete logistic solution was worked out which the clients were satisfied."
The two-day meetign began with the traditional inauguration ceremony and paved way for the cultural programs, a Gazal night on day one and a Gidda and Bhangra night on day two. Around 275 guests including family and children attended the event. "The convention for next year is an International one planned at Goa. This will feature international delegates as well along with the Indian members," added Malik.
