The theme for the conference, ‘Legal Trends, Thoughts and Times', will focus on the opportunities and challenges that lawyers across the world face in contemporary times. The conference will have relevant personalities who will share their experiences, insights and perspectives on legal trends, at present and in the future.

The conference will be inaugurated by the President of India, Pratibha Devisingh Patil, at Vigyan Bhawan in the presence of the Hon. Chief Justice of India, Minister of Law and Justice, Government of India and Minister for Corporate Affairs, Government of India. 1,000 delegates, which include people from the legal fraternity and media, will be present at the event.

Commenting on the event, Naveen Rizvi, Vice President - India and Business Head, ICE said: "This is an annual conference which takes place in different Asian countries, the last year being in Kyoto, Japan. We have been selected through a pitch process. ICE has planned a tour to the Kingdom of Dreams, and a gala dinner at Hotel Ashok, Raja and Rani Gardens and Taj Palace Hotel.

The event is being promoted through networking sites and roadshows at legal conferences held in countries like Vietnam, Dubai and other countries. Domestic cities where the event is being promoted is Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai.
