IED Communications organises Automation 2010

Automation 2010 is an international exhibition and conference organised by IED Communications in Mumbai at Goregaon NSE from September 21 to 24. The event, inaugurated on September 21 by Eddie Malone, Head of UK Trade and Investment is in its fifth edition. Automation 2010 is a major event for the industrial automation business community, driven by the manufacturers' demand for greater efficiency and improved productivity according to international standards. Organisers chose not to reveal the name of the event management agency appointed for the expo.


On the property, Jyothi Joseph, IED Communications said, "Automation provides an ideal platform for people to meet professionals from the automation industry and explore new business models and learn how to implement the latest technologies towards secure, cost efficient and customer friendly technology. For the event, we have over 600 exhibitors. There are country-wise pavilions created for China, Italy, Japan and Singapore. Attended by over 60,000 visitors, the exhibition also played host to several conferences over the four days."


The Automation 2010 trade show showcases new innovations and solutions for a vast industry segment comprising of refining petrochemicals, pharmaceutical, polyester life sciences, food processing metals, power, oil, gas, cement, various process industries, electronics, and electrical machine tools, among others.


Some of the participants for the expo include global leaders like Siemens, Kuka, Bosch, Omron, ALTOP, Forbes, Fluke, GUDEL, SMAR, Norgen, SICK, MOLEX, G.E and many more.
