Commenting on the association between the Incredible India campaign and the Ministry of Tourism, Sahai said: "India is growing in its stature as a global destination for gems and jewellery and it was only a natural progression of that growing stature that we formalize the association take the GJEPC and its partner members to countries and frontiers yet to be explored. Jewellery symbolises our rich heritage and it's an attempt to urge the foreign nationals to take back a piece of this rich heritage in the form of jewellery."
Rajiv Jain, Chairman, GJEPC added: "We are in the midst of witnessing the growth of India as a centre for gems and jewellery and establishing it as an international destination. The Ministry of Tourism encompasses a range of countries that may hitherto not have been approached by the gem and jewellery industry, making it an opportune association which will go a long way in expanding the reach of markets that the industry reaches out to."
