On the planning that went into the event, Nikita Jaggi, Marcom Manager, The Forum Value Mall, commented: "The planning was quiet extensive. We wanted to give the moms an experience they would remember and help them to feel comfortable so that they give their best for the contest. All participants were trained for the dance talent round; they also underwent a voice moderation session at a radio station; and grooming and etiquette lessons on stage presence and on how they should answer judges; and finally, fashion choreography. However, right from the beginning, the objective was to look for mums and not models."
The event was well received. There were participants right from 23 years of age to 75 years who attended the auditions. There were four rounds of auditions, including self-introduction, talent and ramp walk. There were about 186 registrations out of which 12 were shortlisted for the finale. Participants included single mothers, housewives, and working professionals. Jaggi added, "The participants were happy to give the auditions and had an experience which they always saw on TV but never got a chance to personally experience."
