The sponsors for the event were Hero MotoCorp, Hindustan Times, Panasonic and Micromax. The entertainment acts in the show were performances by Mika Singh, Sukhwinder Singh and Kapil Sharma.

The idea behind the event was to have an annual property through which the citizens of Delhi can come up and thank the Delhi police with more than just words and, in the process, raise funds for the foundation that runs various schools in Delhi and other places. The money generated through this event is utilized for the overall development of infrastructure and standards of education for the schools which are being run under the guidelines of the foundation.

Commenting on the event, Kapil Kumria, Managing Director, Eventz Unlimited said: "When it was decided that something as responsible citizen should be done for Delhi police, the agenda was very clear; to have an event which acknowledges the wonderful work the police is doing and not restricting it to another awards and recognition night."
