At EEMAX 2012, 21 gold, 26 silver and 19 bronze awards were handed out across 22 categories.
Candid Marketing Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best use of Digital Marketing for an Event or Activation category for the ITC Classmate - Man of the Match. Classmate Man of the Match was conceptualized wherein the target group will earn runs on the purchase of Classmate stationery products. Participants with the most number of ‘runs' got a chance to meet Yuvraj Singh, Cricketer and brand ambassador of Classmate, and were gratified with IPL team Pune Warriors India merchandise.
Candid Marketing also won the gold award in the Best Integrated Communication Program category for the Oreo Togetherness Mela. Cadbury initiated the 'Oreo-Togetherness' campaign in mid June 2011 for a period of a month. The activity was held across nine cities, with the objective to engage parents and children across the country and provide them with unique opportunities to create memorable moments of togetherness. As part of the execution, the campaign activities were planned in and around a bus wherein various interactive activities were held based on Oreo's "Twist-Lick and Dunk" theme.
Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best International Event category for the IIFA Awards 2011. The IIFA Awards 2011 was held in June in Toronto, Canada. Wizcraft International also won the gold in the Best Use of Technology in an Event category for the Nestle Sunrise Launch.
Midas Next (I) Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Signature Event category for its Clean India Campaign. Midas Next, in partnership with Incredible India, decided to spread the message of keeping our monuments clean through 3D images. Volkswagen's Think Blue campaign sponsored the event. A first of its kind 3D projection and video mapping was done at India Gate, Delhi, to highlight the campaign ‘Clean India' on Jan. 9 and 10. The Clean India campaign was launched by the Tourism Ministry in December last year.
Encompass Events Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Sporting Event category for the F1 Buddh Circuit. Encompass played a major role in the on-ground promotions and festivities at the F1. The agency worked with Airtel, Jaypee Sports and Mercedes, managing all their BTL activities for the F1. Encompass managed mall and airport activations as well as ticket bookings for Jaypee Sports. Encompass managed the entertainment zones at the circuit, the driver's parade and the opening event.
Fountainhead Promotions & Events Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Public & Outdoor Event category for the Celebrate Bandra Festival 2011. Fountainhead Promotions is the proprietor of the Celebrate Bandra Festival was organised in November 2011. As part of the Celebrate Bandra Festival, Fountainhead Promotions also organised the Bandra Wine Tasting Festival.
Cineyug Films Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Live Televised Event category for the Stardust Awards. The Max Stardust Awards is the annual film awards given by Stardust magazine and MAX TV to honour, promote and encourage new talent. The Max Stardust Awards was organised on Feb. 10 at Bhavans College, Andheri in Mumbai. Cineyug was given the mandate to manage the event.
Cineyug Films also received the gold award in the Best New Event or Activation Property category for the Golden Petal Awards. Cineyug Worldwide conceptualised, managed and executed the first edition of the Colors Golden Petal Awards on Nov. 21, 2011, at Filmcity in Goregaon, Mumbai. The award show was Colors TV's way of recognising and rewarding its best personalities for their contribution to the channel. Sponsors for the awards were Lotus Herbals and Dabur Almond Hair Oil.
Showtime Events (I) Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Product Launch Event category for the BMW Xperience 2011. BMW Xperience, a one-of-a kind driving event, was organised in Delhi, NCR at a large scale inviting customers from all over the country. The venue was constructed at a site that was excavated for the construction of a multi-storey building. A parcour with ten obstacles was created by a team of international experts and driver trainers. It provided the opportunity for BMW enthusiasts and the media to experience the BMW X range of cars firsthand.
Bellset Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Exhibition Design for the GM Pavillion - Auto Expo 2012. Bellset Entertainment designed the stall for GM's Chevrolet for the Delhi Auto Expo and had setup everything from live entertainment to dancing robots. Bellset, designed the nine-way split LCD at the pavilion. A flying car was the crowd puller at the pavilion. The car was floating within the specified area using propellers through an RC controller handled by experts.
Jagran Solutions won the gold award in the Best CSR/Environmental Initiative category for the Arogya Rath - Mobile Health Units. Health Department, Government of Bihar entrusted Jagran Solutions to achieve the objective of increasing the availability and quality access of healthcare to poor people living in remote areas. To address the problem, the agency conceived the idea of mobile ambulances that will travel identified districts. The Arogya Rath has covered more than 200 villages catering to more than 13,000 patients.
Impressario Event Management (I) Ltd. won the gold in the Best Road Show of the Year category for the Radio Mango Nattile Tharam campaign. As reality shows were becoming an inevitable part of every channel, Radio Mango wanted to explore the possibilities of a reality show in a non-visual medium. The reality show ‘Nattile Tharam' (star of the state) was conceptualized as a 100% on-ground hunt for the best male and female singer. The concept was to execute a reality hunt for the best singer through a road show that led to a grand finale.
Innobuzz Marketing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. won the gold in the Best Mall Promotion category for the MTV Panasonic Face of Beauty campaign. Panasonic wanted to design a marketing activity around its Panasonic Beauty brand. A high impact activation was designed where the product was the hero using a story-board, where participants underwent product trials and experience and could see immediate tangible results on themselves. The activation was later transformed into a full blown television reality show.
Krayon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Consumer Activation Program category for the Youtube Space Lab campaign. The YouTube Space Lab Project is a competition for high school students aimed at getting teenagers more interested in science. Students between 14 to 18 years of age had to submit their experiments on biology and physics to the contest to an all-star panel of judges. This online campaign was taking place across the globe in five continents. Krayon Entertainment also won the gold award for the Best School Contact Program category for the DELL Study Buddy campaign.
BEEP Experience Management (P) Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Product Launch Activation Program category for the Nokia Lumia Launch. Nokia rolled out a 360 degree marketing campaign called ‘The Amazing Everyday' for their smart phone Lumia. Beep Experience Management rolled out branded taxis with an invite to an exciting party for Nokia - Lumia in Bengaluru and Chennai. The brainstorming sessions were largely about surprising people and changing their normal day to something amazing and concluded on spotting people in transit and changing their day.
G2 Rams India Pvt. Ltd. got the gold award in the Best Conference category for the Hero Honda Marketing Convention. E-Factor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best Wedding category for The GVK Wedding. Vibgyor Brand Services Pvt. Ltd. won the gold award in the Best In-store Promotion category for the Choko La Brown Christmas campaign. Wow Events won the gold award in the Best Dealer Activation Program category for the Ultratech ke Sultans campaign.
